"SweetO SodaO"

Good Morning,
I took a second look at my Diet Soda the other day and I can't pronounce what the stuff is may of for the most part. It will make you think twice. I now have switched over to home made tea (green tea with lemon and splenda) and flavored waters. I'm not sure if that is any better ,but I can spell all the ingredients. Have a great day and a side of cartoons ....,Robbay

Robbay, I made this discovery this year (yeah took me that long), that gingerale actually does not have ginger in it. I was so dissapointed with the chemical list in the Ingredients list. Anna :)

Indeed ginger ale does not have ginger!

Many flavoring ingredients found in food products are extraordinarily complex creations. Some components in a strawberry flavoring, for example, might be derived from petroleum, but you'd never know as the flavor of strawberry would be unbelievably natural.

Good for you in switching off diet soda, dad. (I didn't know you drank it!) Seriously, that stuff is poison. I feel that good nutritional policy is that if you can't pronounce the ingredients (methylchloroisothiazolinone, anyone? How about phenylalanine?) don't put it in or on your body.
